The short version
If you join our list, we keep your email address so we can send you news about Stella's World books: new books, and when they're available to buy. We don't sell it, we don't share it for advertising, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we are
This site belongs to Cyndi Hoffman, the author of Stella's World, a series of read-aloud books for children that begins with Stella and the Knowing. You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL — Cyndi to confirm].
What the sign-up form collects
- Your email address.
- When you signed up (date and time).
- Where you signed up from: which page, or which link if you came from one of our posts or ads.
- That you agreed: you ticked the box to say you're a grown-up and want the emails.
We don't ask for your name, address, phone number, or anything about your children.
Why we collect it
Only to email you news about Stella's World books: when a new book is announced, and when a book is available to buy. We won't use it for anything else.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this site and stores the list. To keep robots off the form, Cloudflare Turnstile briefly checks your browser when you sign up. It doesn't show ads or track you across sites.
- When we send emails, we may use an email service to do it. They'll get your address only so they can send those emails for us.
We don't sell your information or give it to anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, or until we stop sending news about the series, whichever comes first.
Unsubscribing
You can unsubscribe at any time. Every email we send includes a link to unsubscribe, or you can email [CONTACT EMAIL — Cyndi to confirm] from the address you signed up with and say "remove me". Either way, we'll delete your address from the list.
For grown-ups only
This site is meant for adults: parents, grandparents, teachers and other grown-ups. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete it right away.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
